Beware of "marketing gurus"

There are so many people around who claim to be “marketing experts”. They’ve done a short course, or taught themselves web design or SEO from the internet, and all of a sudden they’re a marketing guru.  We are horrified by the many dreadful websites and poor marketing campaigns that unsuspecting business owners get conned into.

Successful marketing involves a lot more than a new website, or an SEO campaign or posting on social media. It is a carefully planned holistic approach to strategy and implementation, and it takes a lot of skill and experience to achieve outstanding results and a solid ROI.
